Kingston Pike wreck sends one to hospital

Jamie Min Lee is wheeled to a Rural/Metro ambulance as Kenneth McCurry (left) looks on. According to Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper Frank Shearl, Lee’s car was eastbound on Kingston Pike and while attempting to turn right onto Peterson Road was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by McCurry. Lee’s car was knocked down into a large rock overflow rain basin alongside First Tennessee Bank. Lee was transported to Baptist West Hospital. McCurry was charged with following too close and no proof of insurance.
