Police nab two in attempted Concord Road armed robbery

Knox County Sheriff’s officers captured two people suspected in the alleged attempted robbery of Lakeside Market Monday afternoon. According to an eyewitness at the Concord market, one suspect was armed “but no one was hurt.” The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. Officers apprehended the suspects at the intersection of Concord Road and Kingston Pike.
