Northeastern names Dean’s List
The following local students were recently named to Northeastern University’s dean’s list for the fall semester 2003, which ended in December 2003:
Knoxville residents Jacob A. Foltz-Gray, an English major, and Stephanie Wittbecker, a communication studies major.
Lipscomb holding music scholarship auditions

University of the South names Dean’s List
The following local students have been named to the Dean’s List at the University of the South for the Advent fall 2003 term:
Jean Ji-hyun Lee of Knoxville; Lee is the child of Mr. and Mrs. Hyung-man Lee.
Amelia DeHart Nennstiel of Knoxville; Nennstiel is the child of Mr. and Mrs. George Nennstiel Jr.
To earn a place on Sewanee’s Dean’s List, a student must earn a minimum grade point average of 3.625 on a 4.0 scale.
Emory College names Dean’s List
The following local residents were named to the Dean’s List of Emory College, the undergraduate liberal arts college of Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., for the 2003 fall
semester:
Jonathan Loar, Knoxville, son of Dr. James Marvin Loar and Amy Rhea Loar.
Christiana Roussis, Knoxville, daughter of Dr. Pericles Themios Roussis and Eleni Roussis.
Students must be in the top 20 percent of Emory College or have approximately a 3.8 GPA or higher to be named to the Dean’s List.
