Second Harvestís Hams for the Hungry campaign in full swing

Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee has kicked off Matthew LeSageís fifth annual Hams for the Hungry campaign.

The campaign is an effort to raise money to purchase hams and traditional Easter dinner fixings for needy families. LeSage started the program in the third grade after learning that more than 150,000 people in East Tennessee, including 45,000 children, live in poverty.

For more information about Hams for the Hungry or to find out more about Second Harvest and its other hunger relief activities, call Second Harvest at 521-0000.
