Speed bumps have for the most part eliminated speeding and reduced cut-through traffic in the Bridgewater Road area. These added bumps limit speed to below 15 mph in most cases for all traffic including emergency vehicles. Should Farragut install the same type of speed control on secondary streets in the town? Would speed bumps compromise precious seconds of emergency vehicle response time? What is the solution to speeding? Is speeding a problem or is speeding just the way things are now?
