The Knoxville chapter of the American Marketing Association honored professionals Gloria Ray and Dr. David Schumann, and Bush Brothers Corporation, among others, for their contributions to the marketing industry at its annual Awards Gala and Benefit Auction on Saturday, March 6, at the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.

The awards for outstanding marketing professionals are awarded each year to individuals who have a 20-year or more career serving as a role model for the business and marketing community possessing the qualities that are integral to the purpose of the KAMA: to enhance the professional and ethical practice of marketing, to foster educational opportunities and to promote excellence. This year, the organization will recognize outstanding marketing professionals Gloria Ray for her contributions to the marketing industry and Dr. David Schumann for his contributions as a marketing educator. Past recipients include Scottie Mayfield, Bob Goodfriend, Jim Haslam and Donna Cobble.
