Diamond Ads crush 'Dawgs

With a six-run second inning followed by seven more runs in the fourth, the state's top-ranked Class AAA high school baseball team rolled over its archrivals on the road Wednesday.
Led by Riley Jennings' four hits and two RBIs and Drew Reagan's two-run homer and four RBIs, the defending state champion Farragut Admirals (16-1, 5-0 in District 4-AAA) ripped apart Bearden 16-0 in five innings at Phil Garner Field.
WInning pitcher Kyle Waldrop, who contributed a home run offensively, allowed four hits and one walk while striking out four in five innings of work.
Brett Basham led the Bulldogs (6-9, 0-6) with two hits.
