• April 7: Knox County police were called to the Kohl’s department store in Farragut to investigate an alleged shoplifting charge against a Harriman woman. The suspect was caught allegedly stealing clothing by the store’s loss prevention team.

• April 7: Police were called to a Southshire Drive address in response to an attempted burglary. The victim told police that a screen had been pried from its window and pry marks were found on a door within the garage area.

• April 7: Police were called to the Kohl’s department store in Farragut to investigate an alleged shoplifting charge against a Midway Road woman.

• April 7: Police were called to a Dominion Circle address in response to a claim of verbal threats. The victim told police that the suspect is a paranoid schizophrenic and had called the victim stating that he was not going to go hungry or do without money. The victim said the suspect demanded the victim give him his inheritance that his grandfather left him. The victim added that the suspect stated he had the ammunition and the means to take care of the victim and the suspect’s father. The suspect stated that he would be en route from Cleveland if the victim didn’t help him.

• April 7: Police were alerted by the owner of Campbell Station Wine & Spirits that he had video tapes of an employee stealing bottles of alcohol from the business. The complainant stated that the employee had tried to return the stolen alcohol to the store for a fraudulent refund. The complainant has requested a detective come to the business.

• April 8: A Barrier Road woman reported to police that her diet pills had been stolen from her vehicle while in the Rockwell Farms subdivision.

• April 8: A Strawberry Plains woman reported to police that her vehicle had been struck by a Waste Connections truck while at the intersection of Campbell Station Road and Kingston Pike. The victim alleges that the truck did not stop.

• April 8: A Dandridge man was escorted off the premises of Baptist Hospital West on Parkside Drive when hospital personnel reported that the man was causing a disturbance.

• April 8: A North Campbell Station Road man called police after a verbal argument that began at a Solway School Road residence followed him to North Campbell Station Road. Police were told the suspect had followed the victim to his home after the victim had left her house. The couple was arguing over a vehicle. The incident did not escalate into a physical altercation and the suspect left the residence after she was told police had been called.

• April 8: A woman was arrested at a Windham Hill Drive address after she became unruly with police following a domestic dispute. Officers stated the woman arrived on the scene and in their presence began screaming and making threats.

• April 8: Police were called to the Bi-Lo in Farragut in response to a criminal summons when store management reported that had caught an employee stealing from the company.

• April 9: Knox County officers were called to a Windham Hill Drive address in response to an assault claim. Officers reported that the victim and her husband, the suspect, were in an argument. The victim ended up being arrested as a result of another officer’s investigation. Upon being released from jail, the victim called wanting a report alleging she was abused. The victim alleged that during the argument the suspect grabbed the victim by her hair and began pulling her hair.

• April 10: An ambulance driver with Rural/Metro EMS reported to police that the driver of a Dodge Durango attempted to run him off the road while transporting a patient to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. A witness told police that the ambulance was on I-40N merging onto 140 when the suspect failed to yield and came in front of the ambulance and then slammed on the brakes. The suspect, it was reported, has a sticker on his back windshield of a character urinating on Rural/Metro. The complainant stated that this was an ongoing incident and that the suspect has attempted to run other Rural/Metro vehicles off the road.
