SJN to request parade rights

The Farragut Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at Town Hall. The meeting is open to the public.

Ordinances for second reading include:
• Second reading of an ordinance to rezone parcels five and six, tax map 142, from R-1 to R-3; 2.237 acres located at 709 and 705 Fretz Road, requested by Ben Testerman and Scott Smith.
• Second reading of an ordinance to rezone a portion of parcel four, tax map 142, from agricultural to R-3; approximately 18.25 acres located on the west side of Fretz Road, north of Lanesborough Apartments, requested by Ben Testerman and Scott Smith.
• Second reading of an ordinance to accept Anchorage Way, the private street located within Turkey Creek Harbor subdivision, phase 2-4, as a public road; requested by the Turkey Creek Harbor Homeowners Association, Inc.
New business items include:
• Consider approval of a parade on public streets; requested by St. John Neumann Catholic School, 225 Jamestowne Blvd.
• Consider approval of relinquishing town of Farragut right-of-way on Campbell Station Road; requested by Faith Lutheran Church, 239 Jamestowne Blvd.
• Consider approval of a licensing agreement from the state of Tennessee for a walking trail in the I-40/75 right-of-way, from Everett Road to Fox Run subdivision.
• Review proposed Capital Improvement Plan for Fiscal Years 2005-2009.
