NBC Bank promotes Phillips to VP
Bobby Phillips has been promoted to assistant vice president at National Bank of Commerce’s Farragut Branch. He previously was a Bank Officer and has been with the company since 2000. Phillips is currently attending the Tennessee School of Banking. He is a charter member of the Kiwanis Club of Farragut, a member of Boy Scout Troop 18’s Troop Committee, and is the Activities and Civic Service Chairman for the Boy Scouts’ Toqua District.
Moxley Carmichael wins PR awards
Moxley Carmichael Inc., a full-service public relations firm based in Knoxville, for the sixth straight year won more awards at the annual Public Relations Society of America regional competition than any other entrant.
Moxley Carmichael received 27 individual honors, including nine first place Awards of Excellence. In addition, two Moxley Carmichael clients were recognized for their individual accomplishments. Alan Carmichael, co-president of Moxley Carmichael, received the Harvey I. Cobert Award for his many years of work and success in journalism and public relations.
