New principal named at FHS
Fulton principal Reynolds to take over next school year
Leslie Tucker - Thu, May, 27, 2004
Superintendent of Knox County Schools Charles Lindsey has named Farragut High School's next principal.
Mike Reynolds, currently completing the school year as principal at Fulton High School, will take over the top job at FHS as Ed Hedgepeth leaves the school to serve as the county's director of secondary instruction.
Reynolds has served as Fulton's principal since 1997 and was an assistant principal at Knoxville Catholic. He also taught at Webb and at FHS from 1989-94.
"We felt like Mike was a good fit for Farragut," said Russ Oaks, spokesperson for the Knox County School Board.
