The national security index is at an elevated level. National media are telling their viewers that al-Qaida may use vehicles as rolling bombs. As a tractor-trailer, which may be avoiding the scales at the weigh station on I-40, turns nouth on Campbell Station Road, it is assumed to be headed back to the Interstate via a town street.
The town of Farragut has an ordinance prohibiting such action by trucks. Should the town do more to enforce this ordinance? Does heavy truck traffic by the primary school concern you? Would Farragut streets be safer if trucks were not allowed on Farragut streets? Tell us what you think.
