SJN hosts swim clinic to raise funds for field

Photo submitted
St. John Neumann Catholic School athletic fields are one step closer to reality thanks to a successful swim clinic held Aug. 13 and 14 at Concord Hills pool. More than 125 children and their parents donated $20 each for the opportunity to receive swimming lessons from Maura Perfetto, certified swimming instructor. Perfetto conceived this idea as a way to help raise funds to complete new athletic fields for the school. She was assisted by Anita Dinwiddie and the Knoxville Catholic High School swim team. The two day event raised $3,700 that went directly to the school.
