VolleyDogs struggle among 4-AAA foes

It was rough times last week for the Bearden High VolleyDogs.

We played real well Tuesday (Sept. 21), should have beaten Maryville but didnt, BHS head coach Jennifer Allen said. A victory against Sevier County was followed by losses to Webb Sept. 22, and setbacks to archrival Farragut and district foe South-Doyle (Sept. 23).

While Bearden continues to be carried by senior outside hitter Lauren Broyles and senior setter Ashleigh Smith according to Allen, the BHS skipper did praise junior Jill Underwood.

Shes been playing front row for us, and when shes on she has a pretty good game for us, Allen said.
