Celebrating eight years of promoting walking, International Walk to School Day was held Wednesday, Oct. 6. Farragut Primary School was one of the more than 3000 schools that participated in the event. Parents registered for the walk and met at set locations to walk to school as a group. Many of the children were escorted by their entire families and pets. Refreshments were provided at the completion of the walk. Pictured left are Kelly and Grant Shwartz. Grant is a kindergarten student at FPS.
