Cindy Doyle Insurance Agency fills a void

Cindy Doyle has taken over the reins of the State Farm Insurance and Financial Services agency formerly owned by Tom Breazeale, who retired Sept. 30, after 47 years with State Farm and moved to Clemson, S.C.

Doyle has been with State Farm for 16 years and would like all of the community to know the agency is still in business.

“We are in the same building with all of the same employees, the same phone number and we’re still giving our clients the best customer service possible,” she said.

Doyle began her career as a State Farm Insurance agent in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and moved up the corporate ladder as an agency field consultant and field executive covering central and west Florida. In 2001, she joined the Strategic Resources Department at State Farm corporate headquarters in Bloomington, Ill.

“It is common knowledge among the State Farm employees that at some point in everyone’s career they will work at the headquarters in Bloomington,” Doyle said.

In 2002, Doyle was named vice president of agency in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she oversaw agency operations and marketing, encompassing 365 State Farm agencies.

Doyle said she recently decided to get out of the corporate world and “settle down” in one place.

“My youngest son is 10 years old and he has moved six times already,” she said.

Doyle and her husband Eddie decided to settle in Farragut.

“I told my son that he can definitely graduate from Farragut High School,” she said.

They have family living in Farragut and according to Doyle her relatives told her there was no other place to live.

The Doyles are a couple of weeks away from moving into their new home and she said they are very happy to be living close to her brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their six children.

“I have a claim to fame in Farragut,” Doyle said. “I am the aunt of Andrew and Aaron Doyle,” the former FHS soccer standouts.

The Cindy Doyle Agency has seven associates in addition to Doyle. She said the agents have 76 years of accumulated State Farm experience, averaging nearly 10 years each.

“State Farm is a very service oriented company,” Doyle said. “We truly care about our customers and work with them to find the plan that meets their needs.”

Some of the services offered by the Cindy Doyle State Farm Agency are homeowners, auto, renters, life and health insurance.

Doyle has brought a new service to the agency with the addition of mutual fund sales.

“I have a securities license so I am able to sell mutual funds,” Doyle said.

She said the agency also has a State Farm bank where customers have checking and savings accounts and have access to their financial transactions online.

“We also sell (certificates of deposit) and we can offer them at a higher rate than most banks because we do not have the overhead expenses that banks have,” she said.

According to Doyle, the State Farm agents are very familiar with their clients and most clients will ask for their specific agent by name.

“Our clients know that we truly care for them,” she said. “When you call our office, you will get an agent who will treat you as a real person and not just another policy.”

Doyle and her husband have two sons, Brent, who attends the University of Illinois, and Tyler, who is a fifth-grade student at Farragut Intermediate School.
