Farragut town elections May 5

Three positions on the Farragut Board of Mayor and Aldermen will comprise the slate for the April 5, 2005, town of Farragut Municipal Election.

These positions include the mayor, a Ward I alderman (currently held by Alderman Constance Rutenber) and a Ward II alderman (currently held by Vice Mayor Mike Haynes) and are four-year terms.

Ward I consists of residents on the north side of Kingston Pike while Ward II consists of residents on the south side of Kingston Pike. To be eligible for the office of alderman, a person must be a registered voter and reside within the desired ward for at least one year preceding the election.
