FHS band receives check

Jim McGowan, Chairman of the Greenville Band High School Classic (right), presented a $1,000 check to Farragut High School band director Ron Rogers, Thursday, Nov. 18. The money was awarded to the FHS band for winning Grand Champion in the Greenville band competition in October. One half the money goes toward band expenses and the other half will be presented as a scholarship to a senior band student.
