Farragut Health Care honors caregivers

Across the state of Tennesse, more than 35,000 nursing home employees dedicate their lives to serving others.

In appreciation for their hard work, patients and family members, along with local citizens, celebrated “Nursing Home Caregiver Appreciation Day.”

During a special recognition ceremony, Farragut Health Care Center, located at 12823 Kingston Pike, honored its health care workers.

On this special day, employees were honored for the service they provide 24 hours a day for those incapable of living independently due to a chronic illness, injury or rehabilitation. It is also a place where patients can go on with their lives while under the secure and capable watch of a team of trained caregivers who understand the patients’ physical, mental, social and spiritual needs.

“Nursing home caregivers go above and beyond the call of duty on a day-to-day basis,” said Bob Foster, interim administrator of the facility. “Our employees put their energy, efforts and hearts into providing patients with the highest quality of care. It’s not an easy job, but our employees look forward to the challenge because they personally care about making a difference in each patient’s life.”

Farragut Health Care is a member of the Tennessee Health Care Association, a nonprofit organization.
