Greg Scealf and his son, Luke, 5, take a close look at the Elvis memorabilia-clad motor scooter belonging to Fox Den resident Lee Durand on display at the Farragut Folklife Museum during its celebration of Elvis’ birthday Saturday, Jan. 8.
More than 300 Elvis fans and enthusiasts turned out for the gala, which featured Elvis favorites: peanut butter and banana sandwiches, Pepsi Cola and stuffed celery. The exhibit remains on view through March. For complete coverage, see Community, page 22 of this weeks paper.
