Bearden hoop visit to Farragut full of food, honorees

Bearden’s annual basketball visit to Farragut High School Friday, Jan. 21, will feature three special events beyond the games.

Farragut High School’s Dugout Club will host a chili supper in the FHS Commons from 5 to 8 p.m. Cost is $5 per person, with all proceeds going to FHS baseball.

Between the girls and boys varsity games — approximately 7:45 to 8 p.m. — the 2004 Lady Ads golf team will be recognized for winning the Class AAA state title.

During the boys’ varsity halftime, Kyle Waldrop — $1 million signee of the Minnesota Twins Major League Baseball organization and former FHS star — will be presented a special award by FHS head baseball coach Tommy Pharr.
