Ragsdale to speak at Chamber networking

The Farragut/West Knox Chamber of Commerce will hold its next networking breakfast from 8 to 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 3, at the Fox Den Country Club. Mayor Mike Ragsdale will be special guest speaker.
Ragsdale will discuss the “Every School is a Great School” program and describe his vision for where he wants it to go in the next two years.
Knox County Commissioner Mike Hammond said, “It will be a great opportunity to sit down with the mayor and ask questions about anything you’ve seen, read or heard.”
Ragsdale and representatives from the Knox County Schools administration also will answer questions about the proposed new high school in West Knox County as well. School Board representative Karen Carson (District 5) and Knox District 5 County Commissioners Hammond, Craig Leuthold and John Griess are expected to be in attendance.
