• Prestige Cleaners has been selected as one of America’s Best Cleaners. As an America’s Best Cleaner, Prestige has been recognized as a top performer in the areas of fabric and stain identification, garment construction and color fastness. In order to qualify as an America’s Best Cleaner the cleaner must be able to clean and preserve wedding gowns, offer fine apparel storage, be a full-service cleaner, offer hand finished service, provide pick-up and delivery service, have the capacity to ship anywhere and offer emergency service. • Prentke Romich, a maker of augmentative and alternative communication devices for people who have speech disabilities, will conduct a day-long training on its Unity products at the East Tennessee Technology Access Center in Knoxville. The training will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 22. There is no charge for the training. ASHA credits are available for speech language pathologists. • Dr. Susan Dimmick recently joined Oak Ridge Associated Universities as a health education project manager for the Health and Safety Communication group. She brings with her more than 24 years of communication and health care experience. In her new position at ORAU, Dimmick will work with colleagues to develop a communication strategy and products for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Environmental Public Health Tracking network. She also is working with colleagues to develop a model response plan for airports and the surrounding health departments that may be needed to contain a communicable disease at U.S. ports of entry.

• Scott Edmondson recently celebrated his 10-year anniversary with CBBC bank. While at CBBC, Edmondson has managed several branches, including the Airport branch. He presently serves as business development manager of the Peters Road branch and is an assistant vice president. A native of Blount County, Edmondson graduated from Maryville High School and is a deacon and treasurer of Mountain View Church of Christ. He is a graduate of the Southeastern School of Consumer Credit and the Southeastern School of Commercial Lending.
