The town of Farragut has agreed to evaluate and remove trees that line the side of south-bound Virtue Road in order to lessen the risk of fatal vehicle crashes. Are there other areas in Farragut that need similar attention? Is removing the trees along part of Virtue Road all that is needed or should the engineering of the road itself be evaluated? Should the town have reacted sooner to the conditions on Virtue Road considering the number of accidents Knox County police have worked in that area over the past few years?
