As part of the Advanced Supervisory Management Certificate Program, UT Professional & Personal Development is offering two upcoming courses.

On Wednesday, March 23, "Work Motivation: How to Make the Most of It" will be taught by Greg Maciolek. Participants will learn how to align their management or supervisory practices with what really motivates employees, as well as develop methods to tap into an employee's passion and energy. The class will meet from 9 a.m. to noon. The course fee is $99.

Instructor Bob Lash, Jr. will teach "Facilitation Skills" from 9 a.m. to noon, Friday, April 1. The workshop provides an overview of a facilitator's role within groups or teams of employees.

The session will include discussion in addition to experiential activities and feedback designed to develop the necessary skills for achieving success within groups or teams. The class fee is $89. Both course are taught at the UT Conference Center on Henley Street. For those who park in the Locust Street/University Parking Garage, parking will be validated.
