Pinnacle Company Grigsby Chapel project moves closer to start following FBMA ruling


The Farragut Board of Mayor and Aldermen met for its regularly scheduled meeting Thursday, March 10, in the Farragut Town Hall assembly room.

The Board unanimously passed Ordinance 06-03 opening the door for Pinnacle Management Company to begin its attached residential complex.

Pinnacle raised the ire of several Grigsby Chapel community residents when it first approached the town with the plan.

The company reached out to its proposed neighbors through community meetings to inform them of its intentions.

On second reading the board voted to:

approve Ordinance 05-04 to amend Title 13, Property Maintenance Regulations, by adding Chapter 2, Blighted or Deteriorated Property, of the Farragut Municipal Code.

approve Ordinance 05-05 to amend Title 12, Building, Utility, Etc. Codes, by Amending Chapter 12, Plumbing and Gas/Mechanical Licensing Requirements, of the Farragut Municipal Code.

approve Ordinance 05-03 a request by Pinnacle Manage-ment Company to rezone Parcel 100 and 101, Tax Map 142, located on the south side of Grigsby Chapel Road between Wyndham Hall subdivision and St. Marys Medical Clinic, 9.62 acres, from R-1 Rural Single-Family Residential District to R-4 Attached Single-Family Residential District.
