Webb’s Carver headed to UK

Webb School soccer standout Caroline Carver signed National Letter of Intent papers with the University of Kentucky Wednesday, Feb. 2, in Webb’s Athletic Center. Carver has played soccer for Webb School since the sixth grade. A four-year varsity player, Carver received All-Region honorable mention honors in 2004 after tying Meredith Goldman as team point leader for goals and assists. As a sophomore, Carver was named the team’s best offensive player for leading the Lady Spartans in goals and assists. As a junior, she was named the team’s most valuable player. “Caroline is a naturally talented and competitive player,” Webb head coach Heather Eastwood said. ”She is tough and hard working.”
