• March 23: A Midhurst Drive woman reported to police the attempted burglary to a vehicle at her residence. The woman stated the vehicle’s alarm sounded and that other in residence at the home went to investigate. The vehicle suffered a smashed window. The complainant stated she heard a vehicle door closing shortly after the alarm sounded.

• March 23: Police were dispatched to the ORNL Federal Credit Union on Municipal Drive in Farragut when an argument erupted between a customer and an employee. The victim stated the suspect came into the branch office to withdraw money from her account. The suspect was informed that she could not withdraw money because the account had a court-issued levy on it. The suspect allegedly became angry and began to yell at the victim and during her yelling the suspect made and aggressive move across the victim’s desk snatching a document containing the suspect’s account information. Another branch employee grabbed the suspect by the arm in an unsuccessful attempt at preventing the woman from taking the document. Police later recovered the document when they stopped the woman.

• March 24: A Soddy Daisy man was arrested after an incident at a Windward Drive residence. Upon arrival, officers were told by the female victim that she and the male arrestee were at her residence using LSD (acid). The victim stated the arrestee became out of control and began trying to “grope and grab” the victim’s chest. The victim defended herself by striking the arrestee with a baseball bat. Officers discovered the arrestee outside the residence naked with his pants down around his ankles. Officers noted the arrestee was obviously under the influence of narcotics and was only partially coherent. The arrestee was charged with public intoxication and indecent exposure.

• March 24: A Roane Drive man reported to police that he was punched in the face by a Boyd Station Road tenant when the victim demanded past-due rent. The suspect and a witness stated the victim punched the suspect first in the chest because the suspect was standing too close to the victim.

• March 24: A Campbell Station Road woman reported to police that she had received several threatening telephone calls from a named suspect, her ex-boyfriend. The victim stated the suspect had been served with an order of protection of which officers reported finding no record. Officers listened to several recorded messages threatening to kill the suspect and wishing her to die left by the suspect.

• March 25: Police responded to an Old Tavern Circle address in response to a home burglary. Upon arrival, officers found that entry had been gained into the home by someone prying a rear window open off the rear deck. Investigation revealed that the children’s room had been ransacked and missing was a Gameboy and $500 cash.

• March 25: Police responded to a Pony Express Drive address in response to an attempted suicide. The victim was transported to Parkwest Medical Center for evaluation.
