Webb’s Wormsley earns 300th coaching win

Webb School varsity baseball head coach Clark Wormsley celebrated his 300th coaching victory Thursday, April 21, with a baseball signed by every member of the Spartan 2005 team. Having led his 2003 Spartans to a Division II state runner-up finish, Wormsley took this season’s 21-7 team to Memphis for an opening round state tournament game vs. Briarcrest (21-17 record) Tuesday, May. 24. The eight-team tourney runs through Friday, May 27.
