BHS doubles, Farlett on to state

Farragut Lady Admiral sophomore tennis standout Lauren Farlett and the Bearden Bulldog doubles tandem of sophomores Hunter Maltsberger and Jimmy Fulton — Region 2 singles and doubles champs — begin play today, Thursday, May 26, in the Class AAA state tournament in Memphis.
Farlett will square off against sophomore Margarite Shinkarev of Hillwood, the Region 6 champ, while Maltsberger and Fulton face seniors Aniket Rali and Ben Howard of Cleveland (Region 3 champs).
