Sexual battery charged at Cove

A 27-year-old Lenoir City man was arrested last week and charged with aggravated sexual battery for an alleged incident that happened in a restroom at The Cove in Concord Park on Northshore Drive.
Shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday night, July 6, Wuilfrido Barrera Amado, 907 Rigged Road, was accused of touching a 12-year-old boy while forcibly holding him by the wrist.
The victim stated in the warrant that Amado’s actions made him feel uncomfortable, threatened and scared.
Amado is being held on a $15,000 bond at the Knox County Jail.
