Freedom of speech is a precious thing.
One can argue the Founding Fathers of our great nation thought so too or they wouldn’t have crafted the Bill of Rights with that particular item at the top of the list.
Here, on the editorial page of farragutpress, we invite the public to debate the pros and cons of many issues — some popular; some not.
We use our “Through the Lens” feature to provoke such dialogue, but our page is not limited to that topic.
We often run the rules to presstalk participation and try to adhere to that standard.
We will continue to debate and continue to comment.
