FMS’s Carly Sanseverino making her mark in southeastern rodeo

Carly Sanseverino, a 12-year-old Farragut Middle School student, was recently named Georgia Junior Rodeo Champion for Team Roping and Break-Away Roping along with fourth-, sixth- and seventh-place for goat tying, pole bending and barrel racing, respectively.

These titles are the result of competing in 10 separate events during the past year. Her accomplishments also earned her the title of Reserve Champion All-Around Cowgirl.

Carly also qualified for the just completed National Middle School Rodeo Finals in New Mexico in Team Roping following a statewide Wrangler Middle School Finals event, where students from Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida held compete for their shot at nationals.

Carly’s parents are Maureen and John Sanseverino.
