• Season tickets are available for the Farragut High School football season and may be obtained by sending $25 per ticket to Farragut High School Football Booster Club, P.O. Box 22635, Knoxville TN 37933-0635, postmarked no later than Aug. 19. After Aug. 19, season tickets may be purchased up until the first game, (Aug. 26 vs. Central) at 865-671-3606.
• Loudon County Habitat for Humanity will host a golf tournament Monday, Oct. 3, at Tanasi Golf Course in Tellico Village. The event will be a three-person scramble with handicap, and is open to mixed or single gender teams. The $225 team entry fee includes morning refreshments, lunch, and prizes. A team registration form is available on the Loudon County Habitat Web site at www.loudoncountyhabitat.org, or by calling Dee Prickett at 865-458-1023 or Suzi Dale at 865-408-9977.
