Groundbreaking ‘in the bank’


Jefferson Bancshares, Inc., the holding company for Jefferson Federal Bank, broke ground for its first location in the Knoxville region Thursday morning, July 21. The bank will be located at 11916 Kingston Pike on land bought from Horne Properties, Inc. Jefferson Federal Bank plans to open in May 2006. Pictured, left to right, are: Farragut Mayor W.
