• Aug. 8: A Loudon woman reported to police that she was assaulted at the Cotton Eyed Joe club by a Maryville woman. The victim stated that she was with some friends at a table at the club when the suspect approached her and stated that if the victim didn’t move she, the suspect, would hit her. The victim stated that she didn’t move and the suspect hit her on the right side of her face with her fist. The victim suffered a cut next to her right eye. The victim added that the suspect called her after she, the victim, had left the club and stated that she would kill the victim.

• Aug. 8: A Midhurst Drive resident reported to police that his radio had been taken from his vehicle that was parked in the driveway.

• Aug. 8: A worker at the Shell convenience store on Campbell Station Road reported the theft of $40.16 in fuel.

• Aug. 9: A Caryville woman reported to police that her vehicle had been keyed while parked at the Cotton Eyed Joe club on Outlet Drive.

• Aug. 9: Police were requested to an Oran Road address to file a report for insurance purposes for the resident in regard to two trees falling on the house. Upon arrival, officers observed that two trees had fallen onto the house.

• Aug. 10: Police were advised by a Lost Tree Lane resident that her diamond and sapphire ring, valued at $10,000, was missing. The woman stated that the only ones inside her residence since the ring was last seen were the house cleaning service employees.
