Town focal point. Is one needed?
- Thu, Sep, 22, 2005
Given Farragut’s reputation for appreciating arts and beauty in a civic way, should the town have a beautiful yet practical central showplace along Kingston Pike? Something signifying to passers-by what Farragut symbolizes in terms of community pride? A central town gazebo for example, perhaps a larger version of the one at Campbell Station Park accompanied by similar bronze sculptures and flowers? A central location for town events?
