BHS volleyball has 1-3 week

Bearden’s Volleydogs finished a 1-3 week with to give them a 15-13 overall record entering this week.
BHS lost to Sevier County (three games) and South-Dole (five) Thursday, Sept. 22, at SDHS.
Against Sevier County, Caroline Winstel had 11 points, an ace and two kills while Lindsay Granger had six digs. “Winstel had really good matches and Granger has been steady all week she has stepped in and been playing really well for us,” BHS head coach Jennifer Allen said.
In the South Doyle game, Brittany Basham had 21 assists, 10 points and two digs.
Bearden beat Lenoir City in four games Tuesday, Sept. 20, as Natalie Birdsall had 18 points, four aces and three kills. Briana Rittenhouse had 11 points, four aces, six blocks, 11 kills and four digs.
