Volleyball Ads enter week perfect in 4-AAA; win four
Staff Reports - Thu, Sep, 29, 2005
Although saying his team still has lots of room for improvement, Farragut Volleyball coach David Moore is pleased with his team’s 32-7 overall record, a perfect 8-0 in District 4-AAA, entering the week.
“If someone had said that the first of the year, I’d said they were crazy, as young as we are,” Moore said following a district wins versus William Blount, Sevier County, South-Doyle and Lenoir City last week — all in straight games.
“I thought Eden Watts had a very good week hitting and serving for us,” Moore said of his outside hitter. “Lindsey West (setter) had a good week of serving.
“We’ve continued to pass pretty well. ... Kimbra Hoehn, Diana Deer and Amber Fisher are all doing a good job of passing. And the consistency of Kelsey [Benorden], Jenny [Loveday] and Amanda Mitchell,” Moore added.
“Bryanna Reveiz has stepped in as a freshman and is doing a solid job for us. She had a huge block against Sevier County.”
