First 2006 Knox County baby


Mariah Kennedy Crateau, whose parents said she’ll be called Kennedy, was born at 3:22 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 1, in the Clayton Birthing Center at Baptist Hospital for Women. She weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces and was the area’s New Years Baby. She was delivered by OB/Gyn Dr. Greg Glover. Kennedy’s parents are Cherish and Kevin Crateau. Meshon is a senior English teacher at Loudon County High School and dance team coach. Kevin is marketing director at Regions Bank in East Tennessee. Kennedy is the Crateau’s second child. The Crateau’s reside on Connors Creek Circle in Knoxville. Kevin said he thanks the hospital and its staff for their “hospitality and all of the staff there for the way they treated us and the way they handle the patients they care for. We felt very comfortable at your facility.”
