ABCA Coach of the Year
Webb’s Wormsley wins Division III award for 2005

Clark Wormsley, Webb School of Knoxville varsity baseball head coach, has been named a 2005 American Baseball Coaches Association Regional Coach of the Year for High School Division III.
Wormsley was honored at the 2006 ABCA National Convention’s Hall of Fame/Coach of the Year Banquet, Friday, Jan. 6, at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, Ill.
Wormsley begins his 20th year this spring as head coach of the Spartan varsity baseball team. His career includes 2005 and 2003 TSSAA Division II state runner-up finishes and a 2004 fourth-place state finish at state as well as numerous district and region championships.
Last season, Wormsley reached a career milestone — his 300th victory as Webb head coach.
