Miller picks Tusculum

Jovon Miller, two-time All-Region 2-5A football honoree as both an athlete and defensive back at Farragut High School, signed National Letter of Intent papers with Tusculum College of Greeneville Monday, Feb. 6, in the FHS Commons. Saying Tusculum was an ideal place “to get a good education and play football,” the 18-year-old senior added, “I really like their facilities and their classroom size and everything. I have a pretty good chance to play my freshman year.” FHS varsity head football coach Eddie Courtney said the signing “was a great fit for them because they were looking for a safety prospect. ... he’s a very good athlete.” Miller is shown alongside parents Cynthia and Jerome Miller.
