Webb School of Knoxville’s Swim and Dive team 400-yard girls freestyle relay foursome set a meet record during the 2006 Knox-area Interscholastic Swim League “city meet” Saturday, Feb. 4, in the University of Tennessee Student Aquatic Center. (Left to right) Jennifer Muhlheim, Stephanie Ward, Meredith Ayres and Paige Ayers combined for a time of (3:36.43), breaking the previous record set in 1998. Meredith Ayres also set a meet record in the girls’ 100 backstroke (57.58), while Knoxville Catholic’s Sean Letsinger set a boys’ meet diving record (571.90). These athletes are among the westside swimmers and divers that will be in Nashville for the state meet Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24-25.
