The Knoxville Zoo plans a series of “Easter Egg-citement” activities on Saturday, April 15, at the zoo on Zoo Drive south of Interstate 40 at Exit 392. Events begin with a $15 Breakfast with the Bunny, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Kids Cove area. Reservations are required.

At the zoo’s Safari Glen area, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 15, zoo visitors may bring their own Easter baskets or decorate their own egg bags for children’s use in collecting Easter eggs.

Children’s egg hunts, held every half-hour, will last 10 minutes each. The activity fee is $3, and an Easter Bunny photo costs $5 more.

Zookeepers will also hide eggs all day in various places for zoo animals to find and enjoy. Zoo hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends. For details, call 865-637-5331.
