LeSueur stars in Fox Den’s ‘Longest Drive’

Prior to teeing off at one of his favorite golfing locations, Chapman Highway Driving Range, self-proclaimed “Blind Golfer” Brett LeSueur holds up three rewards from his efforts in the Eighth Annual Mack French Memorial Golf Tournament at Fox Den Country Club April 10. For striking the longest drive of the entire tournament among all participants — approximately 275 yards on No. 14 — LeSueur earned two single-game tickets to a 2006-07 University of Tennessee men’s basketball game. For being on the winning tourney team, the 1979 BHS graduate earned a trophy and custom club fitting from Tee to Green. LeSueur, event chairman, said the tournament raised $45,000 to assist disabled children and adults.
