Pasley a splash at Georgia Southern


Among many of her Farragut High School swim and dive teammates, senior Jordyn Pasley signed national Letter of Intent papers with Georgia Southern University [Statesboro, Ga.] during a brief ceremony Friday, April 22, in the school Commons. A year-round swimmer with the Pilot Aquatic Club and head coach Gardner Howland, Pasley was a member of the FHS Swim and Dive team all four years. She finaled in both individual and relay events at the Tennessee State Championships as a sophomore, junior and senior, and earned All-American Consideration in 2005. She was selected as a team captain for 2005-06. As a member of Church Street United Methodist Church, Pasley participated in three mission trips to build and improve homes of families in Appalachia and in Mexico. Sitting alongside Pasley are her parents, Sally and Ed Pasley. Standing among the teammates is Brenda McGrath, team sponsor.
