• May 9: Police were dispatched to a Jolly Lane address in response to a 9-1-1 hang-up call. Responding officer found the victim and the suspect on the front stairs of the residence. The victim was crying. When asked by the officer what had happened, the suspect replied, “I stretch it to the limit this time, I stayed out all night and didn’t come home.” The victim stated that she wanted the suspect to leave. Prior to officer’s arrival, the suspect had made plans and had a friend picking him up. When the victim confronted the suspect about staying out all night, he started yelling at her. The victim called 9-1-1 for lawful intervention but before she could speak to the call-taker, the suspect grabbed the phone out of her hand and hung it up. The victim stated that she was afraid of the suspect because the argument was escalating. The victim was given a family crisis card and the suspect departed.

• May 10: The victim, an employee of the Rush Fitness Center, reported to police that she was completing her promotions job at Cotton Eyed Joe’s on Outlets Drive and was carrying items (T-shirts) back to her vehicle when several males approached her and the suspect stated, “You were asking for it,” and shoved her against her vehicle. The victim said the suspect tried to stick his hands down inside her pants while holding her against her vehicle by her chest with the other. The victim said the suspect was unable to complete his actions. The victim said something (someone) startled the suspect and he left with the other males. The victim returned to her place of employment (Rush) where she contacted the complainant, a co-worker. Rural Metro evaluated the victim at her employment and she drove POV to Baptist West for further evaluation. The victim was uninjured during the assault. Officer responded to Baptist West to interview the victim due to the sexual nature of the assault.
