Webb’s Banister signs

Standout Webb School swimmer Bryden Banister signed May 8 with Trinity University during a signing ceremony in Webb’s Alumni Room. Banister reached the finals at the Knoxville Interscholastic Swim League “city meet” every year since joining the team as an eighth-grader, competing in a number of events. This year, she finished ninth in both the 100-yard freestyle and 100-backstroke despite battling shoulder problems. Banister was a state finalist on a number of relay teams as an eighth-grader and a freshman. Seated beside Banister (center) are her parents, Sandi and Doug Banister. Seated far left is her sister, Sajen, who is beside sister, Ashton. Seated far right is brother, Hunter. Standing, from left, is Scott Hutchinson, Webb School president, and Marshall Goldman, Webb swimming and diving coach.
