• The Third Annual Help Jordanne Clabo Fight Crohn’s Disease Golf Tournament is set for Saturday, June 10, at Centennial Golf Course. Cost is $100 per player. Check-in starts at 7:30 a.m. and tee-off is set for 8:30 a.m. The format for is a 4 man scramble, with prizes being awarded for first- and second-place, hole-in-one, closest to the pin, longest drive and much more. Door prizes will be given out during lunch. Halls residents Jordanne, age 6, and Jacob Clabo, age 5, both suffer from Crohn’s Disease. It is estimated that there are more than 25,000 adults and children in the state of Tennessee alone that suffer from Crohn’s Disease or ulcerative colitis, painful disorders that affect the intestinal tract. The economic and social burden on patients and their families can be staggering. A portion of the proceeds will go to ETCH specifically earmarked for the pediatric gastroenterologistts group and children just like Jordanne and Jacob. .• The Bearden Bulldog Baseball Camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 19-22, at Phil Garner Field at BHS for ages 10 to upcoming freshman for the 2006-07 school year. Cost is $60 per player, $100 for two siblings. The camp will be directed by BHS head coach Matt Buckner and assistant coach Buddy Wilker. To pre-register, call coach Buckner at 865-368-3141 to reserve your spot. There are a limited number of spots available. Participants must provide copy of insurance card and must bring bat and glove.

• CBFO football sign-ups will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, June 10, and again at the same time Saturday, June 17, at the CBFO football practice facility, 11609 Northshore Drive.

• The Maryville College Fighting Scots football team will sponsor the Fighting Scots Kick-off Golf Tournament Saturday, July 22, at Royal Oaks Golf Course in Maryville. Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. and will be followed by a 1 p.m. lunch. A shotgun start will begin at 2 p.m. A social in the clubhouse will follow the tournament. Cost is $65 and will cover lunch, greens fees, carts, and prizes. Registration deadline is Thursday, July 20. Call the football office at 865-981-8282 to register or for more information.
