Braves 13-to-18 regular season, tourney runnerups

The Braves were 2006 CBFO Softball regular season and tournament runnerups in the 13-to-18-year-old league. Team members, in no particular order, are Rebecca Cole, Jana Dykas, Jarid Dykas, Leah Hutcheson, Leann Hutcheson, Jessie Jones, Hannah Kline, Anna Lewis, Bailey Rainey, Erin Scheuer, Shawnee Shuler and Courtney Taylor. Coaches, left to right, are head coach Don Hutcheson, Brian Carter and Bill Shuler. (Left photo) Hutcheson, who is also league commissioner, presented Pirates’ pitcher Mallory Perkins with the league’s 2006 Most Valuable Player Award plus the Cy Young Award as the league’s top pitcher.
